What do you do father
When you know your
child is in trouble?
When you know he’s
done wrong
And He knows he
has to pay the price
He wasn’t
raised to grumble
About things he
couldn’t change?
Or what he can’t
undo
But I love my son
lord with all my heart
And I cry out to
you lord every day we’re apart
I want you to let
him know lord that whatever he’s done
I’ll love
him till my dying day.
I’m doing
all I can do father
I’m placing
my faith in you.
Please watch over
him
And if it be your
will lord
Show him your
mercy
Please God let
him come home healthy and safely
So the kids can
see their daddy once more.
