My Crystal

My crystal is not a stone,

But still at home she stands all alone,

She thinks we blame her,

Because our son is gone,

But we’ve learned over the years,

In spite of all our fears,

Our son has brought us many tears,

No one coerced him,

We tried and tried to no avail,

And now he’s found his way,

Into an Arkansas jail

After his trial his daughter cried,

Where’s my daddy? She didn’t understand why?

He’s not where he’s supposed to be, there at her side.
